Snipes Fires Back in Paternity Suit
Actor Wesley Snipes has denied the charges brought by an Indiana
woman saying he is the father of her child. Snipes claimed the
woman, Lanise Pettis, is a crackhead and denied all allegations
put forth in her complaint.
Snipes is also suing the City of New York. He claims that
New York had no right to arrest him based on a warrent from
an Indiana paternity case. Snipes claims to be a resident
of Orlando, Florida and therefore claims that New York City
lacked jurisdiction to arrest him. The actor has twice refused
to undergo DNA testing ordered by the Indiana court to determine
if he is the father of the child.
According to Snipes, the woman in question is mentally ill
and a crack addict who often makes claims that celebrities
fathered her child. Snipes also claims the woman became fixated
on him after seeing him in the movie, 'Blade.'
Snipes, 42, has two children from two previous relationships.
